WHAT TO DO IN VILAMOURA
There are many great beaches around Vilamoura, probably he most famous is Praia da Falésia which is the only Portuguese beach on a list of the world’s best as voted by the users of online travel website TripAdvisor.

Golf, well basically ....WOW ! We believe Vilamoura is the best area for golfing in the world. There are seven world class golf courses in and around Vilamoura;, including where the Portuguese Open is played, and four more just down the road at Quinta do Lago and Val do Lobo. Pete has been golfing in this area for over 10 years, it's one of the main reasons we bought our villa.

Vilamoura is packed with things to do and the luxury marina, beaches and golf courses are just the start! For family fun there's the Golf Park on the doorstep and the main theme park and water parks are less than 30 minutes away. There is also horse riding, quad biking, tennis, boat trips, water sports and the Cerro da Vila ruins for a little bit of history. For the adults there is the casino, yacht charter, sailing and champagne cruises, shopping and sports galore and of course all the fun of the unbeatable nightlife! To explore Vilamoura, there's bicycle and scooter rental and to uncover the rest of the Algarve, there are sightseeing tours. There are also big name nightclubs in Albufeira and just outside Vilamoura.

You're right in the heart of the greatest resort in the Algarve. Whether golf is your thing, or spas, or restaurants, or nightclubs, or live music, or pubs, or waterspouts or ...... well just about anything really ...... including renting millionaires motor yachts for the day..

The Algarve in general is great for seafood and there are top class restaurants in and around Vilamoura.

With 300 days sunshine / year, it's normally sunny and warm from April through to November; its not unknown to even be playing golf in a t-shirt December through February !

The cost of living in Portugal is relatively low, especially if you stock up from the local supermarkets. There is no need to have a car when your in 67 St Martins le Club because everything is nearby, however, we normally hire a car so we can have a tour around the Algarve and to collect heavier items like shopping.
